I was down in Pajaro Tuesday looking for SERA 48. I had stopped at ProBuild earlier to pick up supplies and saw two boxcars being unloaded in the yard. SERA 48 was not there, but the Sierra pickup was. I figured they may have taken a trip to Watsonville to do work and decided to drive down with my camera. I drove the entire line in Pajaro looking for SERA 48 and good places to take pictures in the future.

Yesterday I was at ProBuild again and noticed SERA 48 was not there and neither was the Sierra pickup. I didn’t have time to drive to Watsonville and I’m glad I didn’t. More than likely I would have been there taking pictures at the wrong place at the wrong time. Glad the brakeman’s injuries were minor.
