Re: Train over the Siskiyou's

As per information on other boards...CORP is testing the units to see if they can be operated cheaply enough to make operations over Siskiyou Summit economically feasible. No word anywhere on if this is a one-time deal or if the run will be repeated.

While the line over Siskiyou Summit has not seen a through train in quite some time now, the line is not technically out of service. It has been in service, just not used. CORP has been doing inspections and basic maintenance on the tracks.

No answers yet. Those will come with time.
