I apologise for not answering your question earlier. No, I do not know of any others, but
I'll add that I'm not an authority on this for sure. John West may well be able to help as
he visited many more ng lines than did I. Another place that you might try is the NGDF or
Narrow Gauge Discussion Forum...many folks there have considerable knowledge of rails less
than standard gauge.

I thank you again for sharing some of your great old stories. I'm not surprised that those
UP guys had such a hard time with the 4000 and no stoker, think of how large that firebox
was! The only experience that I can recall firing wood was at Castro Point in the early
70's with the little Kennecott 0-4-0T. Even as tiny as she was, she was always hungry for
wood.
