There's been a lot of mention in the local news about utilities drawing down the Inland Northwest reservoirs more than normal this spring. To see Benewah Lake that low, there must have been some serious flow coming through the dam here in Post Falls. One of the big reservoirs on the Clark Fork (Noxon, I believe) was scheduled to be drawn down about 10 or 15 feet below summer level, to allow some repair work. Snowpack in most areas is below average, so there's been less water entering the system.
