I'm copying/pasting my comments into this thread from what I posted in my original Trainorders thread. I think it's some great food for thought:
Love me or hate me, I just wanted to kindly point out that my topic generated A LOT of discussion. It also created an off-shoot of NEW topics.....topics that otherwise would not have been brought up. I've said it before and I'll say it again----there's no need to run away from criticism, or to make "new rules", or think that the sky is falling. The dialogue that was created was GREAT! I learned a lot of new stuff, because people began speaking out. That is FANTASTIC!!! For all you "haters" (and I know you're really not haters), study this page and all of the comments. It's actually pretty cool. It took a slow, boring, page and really fired it up! That is a good thing.
