IERHS--OPEN HOUSE---relocation project update.

Spokane's Inland Empire Railway Historical Society will be having it's 4th annual Open House! on June 18 and 19 from 10:00 to 3:00 at the Spokane Interstate Fairgrounds museum site. Use South Entrance to fairgrounds. Tours of vintage RR equipment and museum will take place and free rides on the 2 ft gauge train will be offered. Food available. As this is an annual fundraiser a donation of $5.00 per family or $10.00 per van/bus load will be asked. This month will also bring more visible progress at the Museum Site at Reardan, WA. Track work to install the crossing in the county road to connect the museum site to the EWG RR will take place this month as will installation of some trackage on the museum site. Also, the F-9 at the fairgrounds is in the process of being made operable, about all that is needed is FRA inspections and some fine tuning. Some equipment is likely to be moved from the Spokane Fairgrounds site to the new museum site in Reardan late this fall.
