Oregon Pacific recently traded in two of its SW-8's to Western Rail on the GMD-1.
OPR 803 (now WRIX 803) was interchanged to UP at Canby last Friday to go to the BNSF at Lake Yard. After five days in Albina arguing over alignment control couplers and placement in the train it finally went over to Lakeyard on Wednesday.
We thought all was well as I personally escorted the train from Albina to Lakeyard.
Well...the "WE CAN HANDLE IT" folks did their "magic" during the night and it ended up on the MPDFI heading for Fife, WA. It is now at Fife scheduled back to Albina on the MFIHK-25 to start the cycle all over again!
Might be some photo ops on the southbound move this afternoon!
