DeLorme Atlas, Southern California, shows a Parson Spring about six miles east of Harlem. Also shows a Parsons Creek about ten miles ENE of Chular.

This area would seem about right. Years ago when I used to drive through there the SP alternated frequencies between 160.89 and 160.95. Loma Prieta is 160.89 and Parson would be the first 160.95 location south of that.
