Though its been 30 years its still hard to believe that the Milwaukee Road is gone. Growing up in North Idaho, near Avery its hard to believe.. I remember going to Haugan with my dad when the Joes first arrived on the Rocky Mtn Division, what a thrill.

For that matter it would be awesome if the NP branch line to Wallace was still operating. What a choice follow a Milwaukee freight to East Portal led by a couple of Joes or a NP freight to Wallace led by a Z-3???????????????
