Living in "Hollywood North", and sometimes supplying movie shoots with materials, there was no shut-downs of streets and tracks for this type of filming. There is also no bridges similar to the ones being shown in the preview. Not this neck of the woods for filming.
Looks like it could be Ontario, possibly Northern California or Oregon.
A yarn of a movie by my liking, and I just don't see anyone wanting to pay full price for this "action movie". Not even railfans. Sorry.
Love the "A train of this velocity will just pulverize anything in it's path". Gripping cinematic triumph strikes again....
There is a thing called a deadman switch that makes this unbelieveable. But just in case, would just cutting the air from the loco to the first car create enough friction in the train to kill the speed? If not, is there another way to stop a train besides the way it is portrayed in the movie?
