A Couple GEMCO locals

Continuing with some LA local captures, here are two GEMCO originating trains in recent shots.

First is the LOF42 (Saugus Local) passing through CP Saugus with a pair of leased GEEPS. I do wonder if this job will eventually get Gensets too, but at this point it seems to be safely in the hands of the EMDs.

Second is of the LOF67, the Guadalupe Turn, building a very long train at GEMCO. The two extra road units here are bound to San Luis Obispo for helper duty. The two GEEPS in the back of the consist were either going to Oxnard or Guadalupe to become local power there.
