Why don't they just double the hill with those oil can trains.

Also why does UP consistently use double and triple unit sets on switching runs that never see more than twenty or so car loads? You see that a lot around Martinez - and everywhere else too - it seems. SP used to handle that with a single sw1500 without too much trouble.

There's a lot of wasted resources everywhere you look. Considering how much the UP whines about fuel costs, and their customers whine (and take legal action) about fuel surcharges; you'd think that they (the UP) would be looking for opportunities to improve efficiency. This would be considered the low hanging fruit in my opinion.

Must be those super smart "Haaaavad" MBA's that the big stUPid employs!
