Right you are, Smitty

Impossible to miss that message. Unfortunately, the nose slogans seem to be telling passengers to stay away--hopefully they've already purchased tickets when the Big Yellow Warning Sign rolls into town!

As far as railfan interest goes, I like the concept of wrapped units. They're a nice break from the routine and they don't last forever, which is one more reason to record them immediately. A good friend of mine is already bemoaning his paucity of photos of the "Daylight Surfer" unit on the Surf Line last year--and atoning for the oversight with a number of nice images of the 25 Million (Millon?) Riders unit this summer.

As one fan from the Midwest noted at the Sacramento depot this afternoon, "They never do stuff like this in Chicago." CTDX 2007 is just one more reason to appreciate contemporary railroading in California.
