Coast Starlight at Coyote February 1979

In 1979, Coyote still had somewhat of a rural flavor to it. The CalPine plant was still more than 20 years in the future and and all traffic still used the Monterey Highway. In February of that year icicle breaker equipped SDP40F #619 led Amtrak Train #12, the Coast Sarlight, past the Coyote station and the feed storage building.
