Re: Lafayette, LA on the Sunset Route

I rode the Sunset through there during Summer 1999, and the Lafayette depot was a crumbling shell (no roof, only walls) with an Amshack out front. Feels strange that the ex-SP line to New Orleans became part of the BNSF.
