SEPTA (Red Arrow) Brilliner #6 Clifton, PA May 1976

May of 1976, Philadelphia was all agog over the upcoming Bi-Centennial celebration but they didn't do much to spruce up their transit equipment as witnessed by SEPTA Brilliner #6. The car is outbound to Sharon Hill on Springfield Rd. and about to turn onto Woodland in Clifton. It has just passed under one of the "Regional Rail" lines which (I THINK) is former Pensylvania Railroad track. Five years later, double ended Kawasaki cars would replace all the old Red Arrow cars.
