Here's the tentative plan for UP that was circulated yesterday, cut-and-pasted from the message I received (subject to change).


The Network Operations Group in HDC will be annulling all manifest symbols scheduled to depart origins between 2300 November 24 and 0500 November 27, for the Thanksgiving Day Holiday. Wednesday night thru Saturday morning most originating "T plan" trains will be annulled.

"Curtailing", very few "home based" crews will be used at any intermediate terminal on thru trains between 12:00 and 18:00 to depart, on Thanksgiving Day.

Yard and local operations will be reduced to the extent possible subject to traffic levels and customer needs. This includes both major terminals and secondary yards. Refer to the HOLIDAY user group in TCS for details concerning specific yard and local operations for each Service unit.
