One SP Alco Century in Black and White and Color

That 70's (mostly) train show continues with this new scan of an Alco Century.

This is one of my favorite old photos. But, the light was funky, a mix of twilight and available light. I do not know which of these I prefer:

On November 16, 1974 Southern Pacific C628 3128, a former Alco Demonstrator, waits at the east end of the yard at West Colton, CA for an eastbound to pass by.
