Grand Lux made the trip up and down Tacoma Hill. Used the interchange track. They have a long term contract with TacRail for use of the tracks out to Eatonville. The Grande Lux National Parks tour is very popular and of course Mt Rainier is on the list of places to visit. You can probably find an article or two in the Tacoma News Trib about it. And there were several photos posted on Trainorders.com and probably other NW lists. About the track quality. Check the WA DOT site and you will see the amount of state money spent on track upgrades and info on the progress (complete this month I believe to 25mph...to Eatonville)
