Poor horse. I'm guessing that she was probably riding on the levee road along the south side of the canal and the horse probably had a problem with a crossing timber where the road and canal cross the tracks. Hopefully she didn't try to rush the horse to beat the train across which made the horse mis-step. Would have been an EB train to send the equine into the water.

It's an obvious trespass, but who knows how this will be handled.
