I'm surprised to hear that the rolling stock is still at Brooklyn. Like you, I was aware of the mid-January deadline to move it.

While volunteering for Holiday Express last month, I did hear something mentioned about having to move all of the rolling stock stored on the tracks to the north of the roundhouse, but that the rest of it could stay for the time being. I don't know how accurate this was.

In addition to the new spur adjacent to OMSI, the organizations do have a secure, fenced-in storage area available to them, but they are apparently keeping it on close hold. It is somewhere in the Portland area.
