I remember the BN Woodland, WA detector at MP 113.5 had the older digit readout. Traveling back and forth on Amtrak from Portland to Seattle I remember the conductor coming to the rear of the train to look out the window and give the 'no defects' message to the engineer. I have somewhere a old SLR photo of it, but since I have moved it is lost somewhere in a box.

I have a old SP timetable dated April 25, 1982 that shows the detector in the special instructions...I would like to post it here but am not too sure how to do that, so here is a few links.
