It is kept on Mare Island where the CDTX cars are getting the doors retrofitted. I assume it will recieve SP style sans-serif lettering on the sides. Stacked 'Northwestern Pacific' will look sick on those units. I don't know about the stats of the 7632, but I believe it is getting painted soon if not already in the booth. I am curious to see if they put 'NWP' on the front of the short hoods. Both units are equiped with P3s for a nice touch. Your guess is as good as mine for when they will head to Petaluma, but with the FRA inspections nearing completion and these units almost reday to go it shouldn't be too much longer. Even another 6 months before start up is right around the corner after 10 years of waiting. Considering the obstacles the NCRA/NWP have had in getting this far, we should be so lucky.
