Yes, that is, indeed, the late dear Bill Bartoli
(otherwise known as "Red") and Don
Micheletti, our former Master Mechanic.
I do not know who the other gentleman is,
but it is not Bill Stetler. It might be
Marshall Goodloe, one of our mechanical crew.
(Bill Stetler was around in those days.)

Bill Bartoli was a steam pipefitter for the SP
in Bayshore Yard for many years. He passed
away a while ago and is missed by all.

I really miss the days when we (GGRM) could run
the 2472 up and down the Peninsula and even
pull the Trains for Tots. We had a lot of fun there
back in the 1990s. We even pulled the Garlic Train
in 1995 with the 2472. Got any pix of that, Sam?
