I commute from Fullerton to LA.

Some Observations Fullerton Train Station:
The following are the departures from Fullerton via Metrolink
4:51a 6:02a 6:19a 6:39a 7:09a 7:24a 7:35a 8:00a Amtrak - 8:16a 8:39a

All parking is Free. The parking lot adjacent to the depot and the parking structure will be full by 6:30am. There's also parking south side of the tracks which would be great since when you return from LA you don't have to cross the bridge. There's usually no parking there by 6:30am as well.

Advantage with commuting from Fullerton is that if you are a Metrolink Monthly pass holder, you can also ride on Amtrak with goes from Fullerton to LA non stop. So this gives you 2 more options to commuting back to Fullerton.
