Interesting in the last photo that the bike lane is routed on rubber crossing blocks that seem to have been installed for that purpose rather than the plain pavement. My experience as a bicyclist is that a rubber grade crossing is much more treacherous when wet or frosty than plain asphalt fill. Or is that concrete panels (the wetness and lighting angle makes it a little hard to tell)? Concrete is much better. Thanks for the photos!
