It's about time! So many people who support HSR but have seen how badly the CHSRA has been governed, how poorly it's been managed, and how flawed the HSR legislation was that they were operating under. Now some of those folks are finally being heard....? Actually many of us who strongly support HSR have been working on convincing our Legislature of this fundamental need for CHSRA reform, for years.

The CHSRA had a chance to get its act together, but the chronic failures in leadership at the Board level continue unabated, like a little private club, with no apparent accountability to anyone or oversight by anyone. The waste and incompetence in almost every aspect of this project appear to go on and on unchecked. And now, the HSR project which the public rightly supports and could be succesful in California, is finally threatened by the lack of accountability, incompetence, and lack of sound governance.

Schwarzenegger's last minute really lame- "lame duck" -CHSRA Board appointments were the last straw for the new Governor and the Senate, with the political shenanigans, unchecked taxpayer funded trough slopping, and game playing at this dysfunctional agency.

So now it's finally time to support CHSRA funadamental reforms, or we will end up with hundreds of millions more in taxpayers funds wasted, on top of the monies that CHSAR has already wasted on incompetent, costly, and bloated planning and design, with nothing real to show for it.
