I'm assuming that the building on the right of the photo is the (then) yard office. Does anyone know about the old passenger car next to the building, the end of which also appears in the photo?

As for the NP FT's, I recall reading that the last ones remained in service up to around 1970-1971, working the line into Sumas on the Canadian border. There is also one former NP FT still around, a A-unit that had been sold to the Sonora-Baja California Railway and is on museum display near Mexico City.
