To Grumpy George Andrews and like-minded clowns: The reason that anyone here posts notice of snow over such arid low elevation mountain locations as Tehachapi or Cajon is because it is an infrequent occasion and melts quickly, therefore making a good rail photography event, as opposed to the common dreariness that you seem to be especially proud of that happens on a regular basis for you.

This notion has been carefully explained herein many times in the past.
