I posted the photo on the link below here on Altamont a while back and, at the same time submiited it to the experts at Railpictures.net who rejected it because of "poor cropping". I had not cropped out the long row of American cars (with one exception)in the left side of the photo.
I filled out one of their "appeal forms" and pointed out that I left the photo as I shot it because of those cars. They later posted it. One of these days, certain individuals in this hobby are going to realize that railroads of any kind do not exist in a vacuum. The surroundings that day were as important as the Brilliner itself.
