On Easter Sunday of 1971, I drove to Sacramento, took the Sac Daylight to Tracy, then the San Joaquin Daylight to Fresno. Had lunch in Fresno then reversed the process back to Sacramento. On the way back to Tracy, SP FP7 6461 was lead unit.

I am in Bakersfield today, plan on shooting the Pacific Rail Society's LA to BAK trip today and tomorrow. Now, if I could only shake off the past forty years and be 24 again!
