Colton Calif. Question

Last Monday was down in Hemet but we had a bit of time to look(get lost) in Redlands, Riverside and San Bedro, looking for the Colton crossover. (No. I don't own a GPS unit. Whats the fun in that?)Is it a fan friendly area and easy to get to if you know the area? And, what is the way to Colton?
Found the San Bedro Station ok and was delighted to see one UP stacker with west sun upon it(no camera, idiot!)and blue sky, snow covered mountains behind. An operation I've never seen before in the truck trailer lifts off of flat cars. Cool. And Four different Metro-Link locomotives in five minutes. (With camera...)

Thanks, Peter
