OT Sort of. Slide scanner ? for posters here....

So you post here or to another web site, you still need to scan photo's to do this right?
Im sure there are cheap and cheerful products and more bang for your buck products, but can anyone shed light on a good, sturdy, middle of the road product, easy to use for a neophyte with a bunch of worthy postable (SP) slides?
