I have often wondered if there is a contgrol point anywhere,
particularly on the former SP, named after Stein. I assume
not.

If not, maybe the railfan community could start a campaign
to find an appropriate location to formally carry that name.

P.S.: I know several living people here in the East who have
had control points named after them.

P.P.S.: I did a workshop with Steinheimer in 1990 and can only
echo all the good things others have said about him.
