Well, yes, the Sierra Nevada range is considered to end @ Feather River Cyn., as the geology North of there includes younger volcanos such as Mt. Lassen & Mt. Shasta. This is the beginning of the Cascade range; the Siskiyou Mtns. are a sub - range of the Cascades. Dunsmuir is located right in the middle of it all. But hey, mountains are mountains -- right Dave ?!?
HEY Dave -- are you going to be coming up here for the NRHS dealie ???
