Nice shot of an earlier, seemingly innocent age. I don't know that I would leave a 16 year old kid @ Colton Crossing today, unless I really didn't like him or her !!! I also caught the GP - 40X's on a coal train, with Santa Fe flags flying for a Mike Martin photo shoot somewhere on Cajon Pass.
When you say the 215 fwy, are you referring to what is now I - 15 through Cucamonga & Corona ??? Because what is now I - 215 through San Bernardino to Riverside. was there since the 1950's, as U.S. 395 / U.S. 91.
