Trucker on the Train

The Southern California Rail Safety group had their 2011 Trucker on a Train event today in Commerce and City of Industry. Here are two views of the train at Commerce this morning. Amtrak engineer Billy Parker was in attendance and spoke to the group several times and rode the train. It was an interesting and very long day. Riding shotgun in a Los Angeles County Sheriff Department squad car was one of the highlights for me. The ride in the BNSF Police suv was, um, well, let's say I didn't have a lot of legroom or air. At least we got to the event on time from the field.

Did anyone else see this train and photograph it?
