Been reading in the paper about slides at other non-rail places in the Northwest, most are proving more difficult than usual to clear as they seem to just keep coming down the hillside since the ground in the PNW is all so saturated. Saw on Northwest Cable News last night that PNW snow pack is running between 300 and 600 percent of normal with rainfall averaging almost double normal in many places to boot. This slide might be worth watching.
