Robert Johnston had published that shot in one of the annuals or in one of Del Grosso's guide books. As I recall he took Richard Yaremko down there and after he died some of the Altamont crew started talking about naming the curve. Probably not unlike the Ken's Curve.

Robert was as generous with his prints, locations and camera techniques just as Ken was. Ken always the modest foamer was certainly better than your average shooter. And Robert was prolific in the darkroom. Two great guys - sorry they are not here to defend their right of way.
