Vehicle and Amtrak train collide near Interstate 80 by Lovelock; at least one on train dead

Amtrak passenger Jim Bickley told Sacramento station KXTV a tractor-trailer hit the fourth car on an Amtrak train coming from Salt Lake City to Sacramento.
Amtrak has confirmed there was a train crash, but did not release any more details.

12:25 p.m. update: Reports from scanner traffic are at least two train cars from Amtrak are on fire.
Also, according to scanner traffic, at least one person the train has died.

12:10 a.m. update: U.S. 95 will be closed between Interstate 80 and about 3 miles south of there because an Amtrak train and a vehicle collided.
There was no information on the extent of injuries, but the Reno Fire Department is reportedly sending people to help. Scanner traffic indicates at least two vehicles are on fire.

Emergency crews are responding to a report that a vehicle hit a train in Churchill County in a place called Trinity.
Trinity is where U.S. 95 meets Interstate 80. Scanner traffic indicates there is a fire and they are discussing closing U.S. 95.
Amtrak has confirmed that it was an Amtrak train involved in the collision, but no other details were available.
