Speaking only for myself,
First:
I am mobility impaired due to ten bad discs, a right leg held together by titanium and stainless steel screws and missing a chunk of its fibula. At times I need to walk with a cane. I am sure your insurance company would be just thrilled to pieces at me hanging around Brooklyn.
Second:
I live in San Jose, not exactly around the corner from the center of things 4449.
Third:
I ride trains to get from point A to Point B. I would derive no pleasure from riding behind 4449. My pleasure comes from photography, something riding cannot fulfill. In that vein, I have allowed use of my photos by any railfan group that asks, including 4449. All I ever expect is photo credit.
Fourth:
As for financial contribution, chasing strains my budget as it is but yet I have purchased inumerable shirts and other items from Dave Houston and, it is my understanding, part of that goes to 4449.
For sometime, I have been working on creating digital files of my 4449 photos dating back to June of 1975. I hope to complete that this year. When done it will be forwarded to your organization to use as they see fit.
