Hey Father Sarducci, glad to hear you are still alive and well! I miss watching you on TV fella!
I don't know why but this whole thing reminds me of a "Foto Funnie" in the April 1983 issue of SP Southern Region magazine, Keeping Track, page 24 in the bottom right hand corner of an old guy with his eyes closed, standing up, saying, "...And forgive them oh Lord, for preparing this lousy lunch...".
The only thing I can say about the Cal. State R.R. Museum is, when the old Roseville Control Operator's job was abolished sometime back around the summer of 1994, as soon as the SP Signal Dept. cut it over to the dispatcher position WR47, they wasted no time taking the old CTC board/machine to the museum. Last I heard, nobody could find it. Sadder part was, the machine only needed a little cleaning up and could be put immediately on display, but last I heard, it has never happend. Now why does this not surprise me?
Thanks for your time and please continue to Operate Safely. The R.R.'s depend upon it!
As Bugs Bunny once said, "BYE NOW!"
