Yes, this was the return trip from the LAUPT anniversary. Little did we know what havoc a mountain known as Loma Prieta, which a lot of people had never heard of, would wreak on Oakland and the rest of the Bay Area come October.

I had parked on the Grand Ave. bridge to take this photo and found a highway patrolman stopping right behind me. As he a I were both shooting photos, he said told me I wasn't supposed to stop there. Of course, niether was was he, but he used the time to warn me as a reason to stop.
