The Davenport Cemex plant is not going to reopen. Cemex has already removed all the recently upgraded compressors and the tiles from the kiln for use in other plants. Last time I was up there they were preparing to remove the conveyers from the quarry.

I heard the Golden Gate Railroad Museum approached Cemex about storing some of their cars at Davenport, but Cemex turned them down.
