Everyone here loses. Amtrak loses another contract due to crippling mismanagement and arrogance and Caltrain and its riders are going to be stuck with an new operator with less experience and most likely a lower quality of service both operationally and mechanically. Maybe if the people at Scamtrak believed their own BS, they wouldn't keep losing important contracts like this.
