You are not surprised though, I bet.

The health system (mental or physical), and the criminal justice systems, are both in essence - totally disfunctional! Life outcomes would not be much different without either one - especially our judicial system; a gambler in Tahoe being more likely to get what he deserves and has earned, than anyone ever going into court. Facts don't matter - truth doesn't matter - right and wrong don't matter - and neither does "justice". It's all just a roll of the dice - a big fat hairy crap shoot; no matter who's court you're in!

Being a para-legal, I am close enough to the problem to know 1st hand - over and over and over and...... It's demoralizing!
