Hey guys, let's focus on the discussion at hand.
You may be interested in knowing that Steve has FINISHED as of this posting well over 20 chapters for the book! Far more than we can include in one book! It has been facinating to watch. Steve works out of our Cheyenne, Wyoming offices three times a week. He normally comes in, fires up his lap top, reads a few emails, kicks the tires in the shop with the guys for a few minutes, cracks a few jokes and then.....
He sits down, puts his head down and starts pounding away at the key board. Smoke lifts from the key board as chapter after chapter spill from his brain. We are proof reading a few chapters right now and editing them for final use. It is most amazing!
Steve actually likes coming out to speak. He told me the other day he is headed west (maybe Portola?) for a few days. He uses the days away to recharge and refocus on what he is doing. In a few cases already, he has come back from trips and gone back to chapters he thought he had finished just to polish them up.
Trust me.....The book is finished! Actually the BOOKS are finished, we are now simply working hard to add a lot of railfan fun to the book to spice it up a bit (Not that Steve needs any spicing up, only to make it as enjoyable for everybody as possible) Steve really cares about this project. He really enjoys speaking. We need to do our part to keep him doing both!
