BNSF or UPRR deliver the trains direct to the new facilty in the Port orther wise the switching is done in the Port area by the Longview Switching company which is a joint facility of the BNSF and the UP. I Stockton the CCT handles all the switxching even on the docks and when a ship unloads cargo direct from the ship to rail after the CCT spots the cars the ILUW folks use a car mover to place the cars under the hook off ther ship. at the Bulk ore and coal facility the ILUW unload the Trains with Metro Ports engine but the CCt supplies an employees to run the locomotive.

If there are pickets railroad officers are used to go into the facility that has a picket line and only if the picket line blocks the railroad property. If the pickets are not on railroad property train crews will take the train in unless it's another railroad union that is picketing. This waqs no strike but an illeagl action by the ILUW.

The olny fight here is the ILUW want to have more employees than are needed to operate the new facility and looks like the operating engineers who are very well paid but with the current economy are not working were able to give the new grain facility owner a better contract with only enough employees that are needed. ILUW always has double or triple the number of folks needed to do the work and most of the time the extra folks stand around or sit in there lwan chairs and watch someone else work. Just like any other group of people there are veru good hard working ILUW guys and then there are the bad eggs. Seems the ILUW has many more bad eggs.
