FYI, there is also a wye leg on the east side of the depot that allows westbounds off the Metropolitan Sub to head east onto the Old Main Line.

MARC trains to and from Frederick use this wye. These come up from D.C., then head east on the old line to Frederick Junction, where they enter the short Frederick Branch and head into the MARC depot downtown.
