I was looking over some of my dad's 8mm movies from 1955. They featured the early days of Travel Town and a location somewhere else: It had a lot of standard gage right-of-way and trackage, with several of the fellows doing weed control by burning and light track work. No overhead wire. There were orchards on either side, and it was quite rural with a few paved road crossings, minimally protected. They had a motor speeder, and there was a wooden interurban body in primer and an Iron Monster, both with unknown/seen numbers, neither operable. A couple of buildings, but that was about it.

I can't figure out the location, but I was thinking Rio Vista. One of the topics on the can lid was "Traction Meadows", likely a nickname.

Can anyone suggest where the footage was taken?
